We’re inspired by Waldorf/Steiner approaches to childhood which place value on nature, simplicity, beauty, and nurturing imagination. Many of the items we have listed in our registry are with a focus on natural materials (wood, cotton, wool, etc. avoiding polyester and plastic when we can).
You'll notice that we are also avoiding any media influence, modern graphics, or items that are overly stimulating (for example, no characters or words/phrases on clothing, no items with tv affiliation, no battery operated flashy or noisy toys, etc.) We’ve carefully chosen items that feel a little more timeless.
