Lost Everything In Wildfire

Hello friends and family,

As many of you know, we lost our home and everything we owned in the Spokane wildfire on Saturday, August 1st.

We know that these are “just things,” but our hearts are especially broken for our sweet Perri. She lost everything we had for her. Her diapers, wipes, diaper cream, medicines, clothes, pajamas, shoes, socks, blankets, toys, books, stroller, crib, dresser, rocking chair, changing pad, diaper pale, and even all of the breast milk Claire had carefully stored for when maternity leave ends and she returns to work at the end of August.

There is nothing that was salvageable. Every family photo, keepsake, and belonging we had is gone.

Above all else, we are incredibly grateful to God that we are safe and together as a family. That is what matters most.

As we begin the overwhelming process of starting over, Perri is our number one priority. We so badly want to re-build her nursery, closet, and play area. If anyone feels led to help by donating any of these baby items that we lost, we would be so incredibly grateful. Every act of kindness, big or small, means more to us than we could ever express.
