We are so excited to welcome our sweet baby boy this September. While this journey to meeting him is filled with so much love and anticipation, it will also be a longer road than we originally expected.

Our son has been diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart does not develop properly. Because of this, he will require specialized care, surgeries, and a stay in the NICU after birth. While we know there will be challenges ahead, we are incredibly grateful for the support, prayers, and encouragement from our family and friends.

As we prepare for his arrival, we are focusing on items that will make his transition and hospital stay as comfortable as possible. If you choose to purchase clothing, we kindly ask for outfits with snaps rather than zippers, as snap clothing tends to work best around NICU monitoring equipment, wires, and medical devices.

More than anything, we are thankful to have such a loving village surrounding our little boy. Thank you for celebrating him with us and for being part of his story. We cannot wait for the day we get to bring him home and introduce him to everyone who already loves him so much. 💙❤️
