Hello family and friends!

Thank you so much for helping us welcome our sweet little boy into the world. Your love, support, and generosity mean more to us than we can express.

As many of you know, our son has been diagnosed with a cleft lip and may also have a cleft palate. Because of this, some of the items on our registry may look a little different than what you typically see for a baby registry. We wanted to share a few special considerations:

• Feeding will look a little different for our little guy. Because babies with cleft lip and/or palate often cannot create the suction needed for breastfeeding, we are preparing for an exclusive pumping journey. You'll find pumping supplies and parent-approved formula storage items on our registry.

• He may need specialty bottles designed specifically for babies with cleft lip and palate. We have included several options on the registry, so we kindly ask that regular baby bottles not be purchased, as they may not work for his feeding needs.

• We do not plan to use pacifiers. Many babies with cleft conditions have difficulty maintaining suction on a pacifier, and after surgery they are often unable to use them for a period of time. Because of this, you won't find pacifiers on our registry.

• As we learn more about our son's specific needs, some items may change or be updated. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigate this journey.
