"Hello! We are so grateful to be surrounded by so much love and support as we prepare to welcome our son in December. Thanks to the generosity of so many, and the donations we have received + thrifted items, we need very little in the way of gifts and would like to avoid accruing extra items and duplicates as we have very little space. Instead, if you wish to gift us something, we are asking for cash donations to be put toward my maternity leave. As many of you know, I am self employed and will not be able to take a long maternity leave and will have to make it through completely unpaid. We are doing our best to stash as much income as possible in advance but with cost of living, I likely will not be able to take more than a few months, and Norm will quickly be back to work as well. Any and all contributions will directly go to meals, formula for bub, rent + utilities in the hopes I may be able to squeeze an extra month into my mat leave and give us time to meet & learn everything about our new best friend & adjust to life as 3 (or 6 if you count Crunch, Suki and Lu 😅) We are so thankful for you ALL."
