Baby Richmond
Thank you for taking the time to look at our registry as we prepare for baby ODR
Earlier this year, our family experienced an unexpected season of hardship when my husband lost his job. For several months we relied on our savings while searching and praying for the next opportunity. By God's grace, he has recently returned to work, and we are incredibly thankful. While we are beginning to rebuild, we are also starting over financially after using nearly all of our savings to keep our family afloat.
God blessed us with the wonderful news that we are expecting another baby only 2 weeks before the news of job loss. While the timing wasn't what we would have hoped, we have been continually reminded that His plans are always good. Throughout every uncertainty, our faith has carried us and our friends have been there. We know that if God entrusted this precious little life to our family, He will faithfully provide everything this baby needs.
Baby's middle name, Delvine, means 'friend in the valley' and she has so embodied that through this season. Psalm 29 has been a comfort to me and reminder of God's promises in a season of unknowns.
As we prepare to welcome our newest little one, several friends encouraged us to share our baby registry. We hesitated because asking for help has never come easily to us, but we've also learned that allowing others the opportunity to bless someone can be a gift in itself.
If you feel led and are in a position to help, we would be deeply grateful for any support, whether that is through prayer, sharing our registry with someone who may be interested, or purchasing an item if you choose. Please know there is absolutely no expectation or obligation—we simply wanted to make our needs known to those who have cared for and encouraged our family.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Your kindness, prayers, and encouragement have meant more to us than words can express. We are looking forward with hope and gratitude as we prepare to welcome this sweet baby into our family. Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with ICP again this pregnancy and will likely have to deliver at 36 weeks like I did with sister. If you could be praying specifically for my liver levels to stay safe and for a safe and uncomplicated C Section in early November. Prayers are always appreciated 🤍
With sincere thanks,
The Richmond Family
