For the meal favors, here are some guidelines that would best support our needs for nourishment and recovery: --Organic Ingredients: We prefer organic ingredients whenever possible, to support overall health and reduce exposure to chemicals. --Protein-Rich Meals: Please focus on meals that are high in protein (e.g., chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, legumes) to aid in recovery and breastfeeding. --Red Meat: If using red meat, we prefer grass-fed options for its higher nutrient content and healthier fat profile. --Leafy Greens & Veggies: Incorporating a variety of leafy greens and nutrient-dense vegetables (e.g., spinach, kale, broccoli, sweet potatoes) is ideal to support healing and overall well-being. --Balanced & Nourishing: We’re aiming for meals that are balanced, nutrient-dense, and support both postpartum recovery and breastfeeding. --No Processed Foods: Please avoid processed foods. --Organ meat, especially beef liver, is welcomed as long as it's made into a dish like meatballs or lasagna.
