We are so excited to become parents and bring a baby girl into this world! Connor and I weren't expecting to have a baby at 24 weeks, but here we are! Her name is Myrtle Marie Scott. The reason for the early delivery is I had severe preeclampsia, and Myrtle wasnt getting any blood flow from the placenta. We had a baby shower planned, but with our little girl coming early we had to cancel. We are currently at the Iowa City hospital everyday, in the NICU. Her original due date is 2/6/2026.
