Dear all,
Guess what...Matthew and I are having a baby!
How on earth did that happen? Well, the short version of the story is that back in 2021, Matthew and I decided to try IVF. The process yielded an embryo that Matthew named Lytton, after the Bloomsbury Group writer Lytton Strachey.
Life was too complicated to go ahead with a pregnancy, and for obvious reasons it took me a while to feel ready to try for this after Matthew passed.
But--here we are. The one and only Lytton Strother will be born on (or around) November 15, and I couldn't be more excited to meet the little man.
