Brooks's Christmas Wishlist

Merry Christmas! 🎄🤍 We put together a few ideas for Brooks as he celebrates his very first Christmas! Specific items we love are linked but feel free to use your own ideas too.

Brands we ❤️: Polo Ralph Lauren, Rylee + Cru, Quincy Mae, Zara, Hanna Andersson, In My Jammers, Bums & Roses, Posh Peanut, Altar’d State Kids, etc. We love classic, comfy pieces and are always happy with clothes in future sizes! Brooks has been pretty true to age-based sizing, so when shopping ahead, we’re estimating:

6–12M: now–March

12–18M: March–September

18–24M: September–March

We just try to keep the season in mind when choosing future sizes!

Books 📚: Brooks LOVES story time! We especially love beautifully illustrated books with engaging pictures and stories we’ll actually enjoy reading together over and over. Hardcover and board books that can become part of his little library for years to come are always welcome.

Toys 🧸: We’re trying to keep his toys intentional and would love open-ended, developmental toys that grow with him rather than toys that only do one thing or are entertaining for a short phase. Think high-quality wooden toys, Montessori-inspired activities, building and stacking toys, puzzles, pretend play, gross-motor toys, and simple toys that let him figure out different ways to play as he gets older.

We’re trying to avoid talking/electronic toys, lots of lights and sounds, and novelty toys that tend to be exciting for a week and then become clutter. We’d much rather have fewer, high-quality things that he’ll love and use for years. 🤍
