We’re so excited to welcome Baby Thoms No. 2 — our sweet little boy, affectionately known as Nilla! 💙 Just like we did with Mackenzie, we’re planning to wait until we meet him at the hospital to choose his name.
The nickname started when we found out about him and he was only about the size of a vanilla bean seed and “Nilla” stuck.
We can’t wait to see Mackenzie become a big sister. Since we already have many of the baby basics, we’ve gathered a mix of things we loved the first time around that broke or have fallen apart, things we learned we actually need, and a few special pieces just for him.
As we did with Mackenzie, we try to keep things as natural and low-tox as reasonably possible during these little developing years. We generally prefer wood toys, natural fibers, organic materials when available, and clothing without added flame-retardant treatments.
