Kat & Cassie’s Baby Registry

We are overjoyed to be so close to welcoming our little girl into the wonderful community of family and friends that we are lucky enough to be surrounded by! Many of you have been with us in one way or another as we have taken this journey to build our family over the last several years. The love, support, and encouragement we have received from all of you during that time has been the most generous and thoughtful gift we have ever received! We look forward to celebrating our new addition with you at our upcoming shower and hope to see you all there! Celebrating our little girl with our community is the only gift we need, but if you would like to give a material gift as well we ask that you please keep the following in mind:

We LOVE previously loved and homemade gifts!

We believe that any color is a “girl” color.

We are requesting that everyone skip greeting cards and instead write their notes in a used or new book that we can share with baby for years to come.

For those who would like to purchase a gift that is not listed on our registry we ask that you keep the following in mind.

1. Think about size and seasonality when purchasing clothing. Baby will probably be wearing size,

- 0 to 3 months in the early summer

- 3 to 6 months in the late summer / early fall

- 6 to 9 months in the late fall / early winter

- 9 to 12 months in the late winter / early spring

2. We kindly request that folks not purchase any of the following items for baby.

- newborn size clothing

(baby will probably not wear newborn or 0 to 3 month sizes for long so we won’t need very many things in that size)

- bottles

(we will be breastfeeding and we have a couple of just in case bottles on hand already)

- burp cloths

(Kat went on a DIY spree and we have enough burp cloths for approximately 12 children)

- diapers or bath or body care products that contain any chemicals, dyes, or fragrances

(We both have very sensitive skin and react to lots of soaps and lotions so we think baby might as well. We plan to purchase some sample sizes of things to try and then stick with whatever agrees most with baby’s skin)
