We are so incredibly excited to welcome our little one this October! We are due anytime from October 9-15! Since we are starting entirely from scratch, we’ve put together a comprehensive list of everything we need, want, and love to help us prepare for our Colorado winter baby. Please don’t be overwhelmed by the size of the list—we wanted to give everyone plenty of options across all price points and mentioned our most wanted items along with noting what’s helpful, nice to have, and needed. Your love and support mean the world to us, and we are so grateful for your help as we start this new chapter!

Baby Boy Clothing Size Guide

*Note: Warning- the clothing section has MANY items listed that we picked out but it’s also for inspiration based on season, holiday, vibe and style. We are grateful for any gifts and contributions.

Newborn: October

0-3 months: October, November, December

- Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas

3-6 months: January, February, March

- Warm clothes needed- long sleeves, pants, etc.

6-9 months: April, May, June

- Spring clothes, short sleeves, pants, shorts

9-12 months: July, August, September

- Summer clothes, short sleeves, shorts

12-18 months: October - April

- Fall clothes, first birthday, all the holidays

18-24 months: April - October

- Spring, summer clothes, going into fall

Other Notes:

- Bed: We have a bassinet and transitional crib.

- Milk Medicine Journey: Plan to breastfeed for a while so there’s many items to support this journey.

- Bottle system: We love the Kiinde system and open to Tommie Tippee.

- Pacifiers: Listed different sizes and brands. These worked for us before.

- Car seat and stroller: This go around we really desire the one in our Most Wanted category. It’s like a Doona. Love the reviews about the convenience. We also listed a car seat and stroller separately for when baby grows out of the baby carrier.

- Recovery: Having a 3rd C-section and it’s a rough time in my experience. We listed items that can help provide ease, comfort and support during that time.

- Other Helpful Favors: Honestly, anything that supports us when we get home from the hospital (Meal trains, meal preps, Uber Eats, help out with our other kiddos, keep me company, help with baby, etc.)
