Barrett Family Emergency mold evacuation Wishlist

Thank you to everyone who is coming here to try to help. Every little bit ads up as we have to navigate this very difficult situation.

Unbeknownst to us, our rental house has had serious hidden mold in the walls, ceiling and floor for 2 years making us sick. Danielle has been the most heavily affected and has developed serious conditions since living here. This past week the ceiling cracked in our son's room, our landlord came over to inspect (after a 2 week period) and without proper containment, or notice to evacuate the room he attempted a DIY repair that included ripping down ceiling drywall releasing toxic mold spores, mycotxins, drywall dust and allergens from old insulation everywhere.

We are leaving the house as fast as possible and it is going to cost us a lot.

Our tenant insurance will not cover any costs as this is considered a "landlord negligence" situation, and the landlords insurance won't cover our contents only the building. Due to the severity of the mold infestation and Danielle's health conditions we need to replace more than 90% of the things we own. We cannot take anything porous or semi porous with us or it will cause her to stay and progress with mold sickness.

This wishlist is for immediate needs to have at our new house so we can manage the first couple weeks while we figure out what we can save from our things and what we have to toss. It might take months to clean what we can salvage - the few things we might be able to save are going into an off site storage facility until cleaning protocols can be implemented.
