Deanna & Shawn’s Baby Registry

Note from Deanna and Shawn:

"Choline supplementation targets milk duct function primarily by reducing tissue inflammation and supporting cellular integrity. Choline lowers systemic and localized maternal inflammatory markers. By cooling the inflammation in the breast tissue, it alleviates the swelling that constricts milk ducts. While sunflower lecithin is highly effective at reducing milk duct stickiness, high therapeutic doses frequently trigger gastrointestinal (GI) upset in both mothers and breastfed infants."

Note from Deanna and Shawn:

"I am planning to breastfeed so please only slow flow, wide neck, 5 ounce bottles to mimic natural let down and help ease transition to daycare as she begins using a bottle."

Note from Deanna and Shawn:

"The top recommended baby cups by pediatricians, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), and feeding experts are open cups and straw cups without leak-proof valves. Leading developmental organizations like Solid Starts and feeding specialists advise skipping traditional spouted sippy cups. Traditional spouted cups use the same sucking pattern as a bottle, which can slow down proper speech and swallowing development. Non-valved straw cups and small open cups build strong facial muscles and a mature swallowing pattern."
