"Friends, as we can imagine, stepping into the 4th trimester can be an intense adjustment period. To support the family, mom, and baby through this time we are hiring a postpartum doula to help with physical care, emotional support, and nourishment. We think mom would feel most supported with the option of 24 hour postpartum package which includes in home postpartum support, bodywork, healing herbs, and nutritional support. This package is divided into 4 hour days, totaling in $1,650. The doula we have in mind is Abigail Turner, based out of Lockhart. Some of what she offers is breastfeeding support, healing the perineum + uterus with herbs and exercises, craniosacral work for mama and baby, Ayurvedic medicinal food prep, as well as emotional and spiritual guidance."
