"We would appreciate any assistance in helping us with some nourishing homemade meals or snacks for the hard days post partum. We would love to be supported with one of your favourite 'family' recipes, however we also would be happy to suggest something if required. You could choose if you would like to deliver a freezer friendly meal/snack before bub arrives OR deliver a freshly made meal after bub arrives. For freshly made meals after bub arrives we could organize an esky on the front doorstep for easy drop off OR if the timing is convenient (and we are feeling well) you would be welcome to come in for a short visit. We expect that this kind of support from our loved ones will help by allowing us to focus on welcoming the new baby and adjust to our new roles as parents."
