"We found out at 17 weeks that our twins had developed twin to twin transfusion syndrome which if left untreated can be fatal to both twins. We underwent emergency surgery to fix the problem. Twin A had a 90% chance of surviving the surgery while Twin B had a 50% chance of surviving the surgery. We’re so grateful that both twins made it through and are doing well! However, due to other circumstances that can arise during the surgery we still have a long road ahead of us. The twins will have to be born between 28-32 weeks and will need to spend a couple months in the NICU before we’re able to take them home! We’re very optimistic in the future of their health!"
