For all you people (“you people”, with love [insert T. Swift heart hands]) who prayed for and secretly wished for the Hadleys to have a baby - well, here we are. – count us as here to give the people want they want and we are joining The Parents Club! 😊

We are beyond thankful for the outpouring of love, excitement, and encouragement that our family and friends and teammates have shared with us so far in this start to a new chapter for our family. We know full well that God is doing His good work as he knits together little Jackson Hazel Hadley (and don’t forget, we’ve got to be cool - let’s call the boy Haze).

As all things baby have begun to take up space in our home, Wilson and Rye have been topnotch security and provided their proper sniff down. Even before he’s made his grand entrance, Haze has attended double digit Nooma classes, and he’s ridden triple digit miles on the Peloton. Haze is getting familiar with “I love yous” and “Have a good days” from the only one of his parents who can reach his mom’s belly. And to ensure we’re not skimping on preparing him for future learning, Haze has heard both Mom and Dad read him The Story of Ferdinand and Kobi Yamada’s Why Not (this will be a frequent read, and yes, most likely for us parents).

We’re excited to meet little baby Haze, so let’s do it - let’s do this parenting thing! WHY NOT?!
