"Hi! I wanted to make this easy for everyone to participate in their preferred way. We are very happy with thrifted or hand-me-down items, too! Amazon offers a nice registry completion discount and also the option to contribute a chunk of change toward an item rather than purchasing the whole thing outright, so we wanted to include that as an option since many of the things we need are a bit more expensive. For example, we do not use traditional insurance so, unfortunately, will be needing to buy a breast pump ourselves. As many of you know, this sweet boy was a surprise and we had already given away every baby item we owned! Thank you SO MUCH for helping us usher in this precious life and a new chapter for our family."
