Jaxy's Baby Registry

Hello! Please Read First!

Branden and I are so grateful that you’re thinking of our family and want to be part of preparing us for our baby's arrival! We know there are lots of different baby products and parenting styles out there, so we wanted to share a few of our preferences to help guide you when choosing something from our registry.

-A few things we plan to incorporate

We’re planning to follow a Montessori-inspired approach, along with Elimination Communication, Cloth Diapering, and Baby-Led Weaning. These are choices we’ve put a lot of thought into and are excited to incorporate into our parenting journey.

-Toys & Baby Gear

We have chosen to keep things as simple and low-stimulation as possible.

For toys, we are specifically looking for items that do not require batteries, light up, or make electronic noises. We really appreciate toys that encourage hands-on exploration and allow baby to interact with them naturally.

We have also decided not to use traditional baby-holding devices or containers, including swaddles, swings, bouncers, saucers, or a crib (with the exception of a Pack N Play for travel). Because of this, we ask that these types of items not be purchased for us.

-Books

We love the idea of building a collection of books for our child!

We ask that the books be realistic or classic literature whenever possible. We also prefer that the books are not written in. If you'd like to leave a personal message, a card would be a wonderful alternative!

-Diapers & Wipes

We will primarily be using cloth diapers and wipes, but disposable options may be helpful for us occasionally.

If you would like to gift disposable diapers or wipes, we would prefer EveryLife diapers and wipes, or if that isn't an option for you, feel free to give to the Baby Fund or simple cash works too!

-Clothing

We already have a small collection of baby clothes, but we are always happy to let you choose something special for our little one!

When possible, we would love 100% cotton clothing. (We fully understand that most cute baby clothes are not pure cotton, if you find something you love, get it! we won't mind.)

-Registry Notes

We have included a description on some items in the registry with additional information about the product and why we chose to include it. These notes are there to make choosing a gift a little easier and to give you a better idea of what we're looking for.

Most importantly, thank you for celebrating our baby with us! We truly appreciate every gift, thought, and bit of love that goes into preparing for our little one.
