Thank you all so much for supporting me and my squishy little love! Please do not feel obligated to buy us anything, but if you would like to, here are some items that would be super helpful as I transition into motherhood.
A note on our preferences:
Baby's nursery will be desert-themed, since we live in Tucson, with cactus, desert animals, and soft colors (light blues, rose pinks, yellows, light greens, tan, etc.). Baby will probably also have lots of Star Wars-themed things, too!
Baby LOVES all books! Baby also loves music, toys, traveling, playing, and nature.
Baby will not be exposed to screens until at least 3 years old. We do not have a TV, and baby will not be on the computer or playing with toy cell phones, laptops, or look-alike toys.
I plan to exclusively breastfeed, and will not be using formula or pacifiers. I will not need bottles until I go back to work, and I already have some, as well as a pump.
I will not find out if my baby is biologically a boy or girl until birth, and would like some sex-neutral clothing items, but do not have strong preferences on colors or styles. Anything cute works! The babies in Sierra Leone, Vanuatu, and all over the world survive in whatever clothes are available😄 The clothes listed here are just examples - I'm really open to anything, and secondhand clothes are great, too!
I am also going to try my best to not stereotype baby in terms of what kinds of toys they play with - which means you can get them toys that are sex-neutral or marketed for "boys" or "girls."
