In general, if you find versions of items that are cheaper or you recommend, please feel free to consider those instead, some items listed are more ideas of what we want versus specific brands. If you substitute, just be sure to mark as purchased.
We are encouraging used, refurbished, and open-box versions of many of the items, but they are difficult to add to registries because stock is always changing. You can check resell sites like fromrebel.com, goodbuygear.com, kidsy.com, or our local facebook marketplace. It may feel weird gifting used stuff but SO MUCH nice stuff is on facebook marketplace for so cheap. It would make us happy to keep it out of the landfill.
For color choices, we like gender neutral, natural tones like sage green, tans & browns, stone, slate, marigold, and ocean blues/teals. For clothing, we’re asking for a mix of sizes and we're trying to keep snaps/buttons to a minimum (advice from my big bro). We were gifted a large amount of newborn clothes so larger sizes are needed more.
