"Birth is expensive! We have hired a midwife, a birth doula and will need to start gathering supplies. Not to mention time off for family bonding and postpartum recovery. We had a life changing, totally amazing experience with Luke and we hope and believe and are preparing for baby girl to come home too. While it's not common in our culture, I sure hope more moms consider it for them and their baby if they are able. There is nothing like giving birth in your own power and then cuddling your family and your dogs surrounded by the team you chose for you. I can't cry and write this, it's just the best!! If you don't know what to get and want to support us, please don't guess, this is what we need. Smiles and a "you got this" hug are also very helpful 💗 Love to you all! Thank you for reading."
