Hello! Thank you for checking out our baby registry! As some of you may already know, our baby bump has a unique nickname while we figure out her name. We have been calling her Motmot. You may wonder how in the world we came up with that. Well it’s a silly story that we are happy to share! A Motmot is a tropical bird that we saw on our honeymoon in Costa Rica. I absolutely love them. But the first time Chris told me their name I thought it sounded silly and made up. And I said that sounds like a toddler name. So somehow that became what we referred to any future potential baby. So when the pregnancy app asked for a baby bump nickname I knew that is what we had to use and Motmot was born so to speak.
