Babester Kuhl-Baxter’s Baby Registry
Arrival Date April 6, 2024
THE COUNTDOWN IS TRULY ON!! I’ve shrunk our registry down to the last truly essential or truly desired items. Love you all.
Baby gear? We know so little. We’re excited to welcome Babester McBabester to our family, and welcome your help, especially if you feel a close connection with an item (homemade burp cloths? a must-have most people don’t know about? funding to get Babester through any of 12+ years of school?). Read a few notes below on how best to empower us as we prep for this adventure.
We welcome hand-me-down favorites, higher quality second-hand items, and handmade gifts, as long as these items aren’t safety related and if they fall into the needs we’ve listed on the registry—BE SURE to MARK IT AS PURCHASED when you fulfill that need. But of course, we would be thankful for new registry items, gift cards, and college fund contributions as well.
We don’t have a theme or a color scheme, though I am a fan of animals, soft colors, and leaning slightly in the direction of gender neutral (as in, I like moderate to soft yellows and greens, but some gentle pinks are good too). Gender neutral or gender bending themes are also super!
We prefer natural fibers and materials to synthetic ones (cotton and muslin over fleece; glass or wood over plastic).
A couple of notes about Babylist registry—first, be sure to click into the item to read a note (if I left one) and details about an item. Second, because Babylist works by offering several buying options, (a) be sure to check all buying options for best price and (b) it isn't like a traditional registry where once you purchase, it automatically takes the item off the registry. Therefore, please be sure to mark as “purchased” any item or like-item you plan to give so we don’t get multiples. Shopping close to the registry helps us avoid ending up with six strollers, three dozen beautiful but superfluous baby blankets, and items we can't keep due to our small space.
If all else fails, we have a 529 Education Fund set up for her if you want to make a big difference. Feel free to contribute. (Note: it is currently under Joe’s name, but as soon as Babester arrives and has a SSN it will transfer to her).
It truly takes a village and we’re happy to have you in our village. ❤️
